Because a HQ photo of a cat without being pasted into a forest wasn’t good enough.
Has that exact same background image appeared here before?
It reminded me of Crossroads 11 Nov 2014 but that path in the woods had steps. Very similar, though.
So this is a story of a levitating kitty?

And I always thought my cat was a bit on the big side…
Pffffft. Not a big cat, small trees!
Nothings says cut’n’paste like badly scaled components.
ASIDE: if a cat were that size, I bet it would cause a lot of black panther sightings in its neighborhood. They are something of a rural legend in parts of the US, but photographs usually appear to be a domestic black cat in stalk mode in grass out-of-focus with no objects for scale nearby.
I first thought it was a wolf. And I thought my cat was big.
