Anybody else notice the Christmas snowflakes adoring the streetlamps? Does that mean with all the other crap we have to decipher about this book from the cover we also need to decide if Christmas is involved? Or were those decorations just a “happy accident”?
Good heavens… SEVEN fonts one ONE cover? Is that a record?
Seven is the number of perfection in the Bible. Maybe that’s what the author was going for? Not that this cover is anything near perfect.
The background picture also says nothing of the story, and don’t even get me started on the floating cross. Everything is just a random mess.
Who the ding-dang is “Spencer,” and who the ding-dang has been fighting for his/her heart since 1840?
Looks like a town to me? The closest I could get was Spencer, Iowa, est. 1866.
Someone please get a broom so sweep away all the cluttered font on the cover.
