Little Red Riding Hood takes Manhattan? Bizarro Manhattan. Seems to be a shortage of tombs, cursed or otherwise. Does this cover have anything to do with this mystery book? Can’t tell from this angle–but maybe if I stand on my head and flip my iPad backwards…

The cursed tomb of Shakespeare? I think that’s William Shakespeare, anyway…could be Ben Franklin. And the Greek god Pan, playing his lute. How these relate to Red Riding Hood and tombs, I don’t really care.

Is it just me, or does that character look a whole lot like Daria from the MTV cartoon series of the same name? The episode where she got contact lenses and didn’t wear her glasses for a while?

I like the illustration. Just think it belongs on a book about cities instead of tombs.

This isn’t a cover, it’s the mock-up you send to the real illustrator.
