You know…if he’d inverted the text and the skull, putting the skull beind the lettering enough so that it was readable…that wouldn’t be godawful. Really.

I can’t quite make out that text in the background, but I think the tl;dr version is “Help! I am trapped behind this cover!”

The unreadable text embossed on the background might be intended to imply repressed childhood memories, but it doesn’t work for me.
