I have seen that font before. I have talked customers out of using it. It is poorly designed, inconsistent and badly kerned. I do not understand why anyone would use it. But then I do not understand the “thought process” behind most of these covers, so no surprise there.
Oh, no doubt. It’s definitely a “LETHAL WEAPON” er…let’s be kind and call it an homage. They probably decided against using the actual font. What was that Serpentine Bold…Oblique? Right? Probably cost $0.05, so it was ruled out.
What slays me are the names and all that. (I’m obviously becoming inured to bad covers…) “Axel Blaze” is bad enough, but that tagline…that tagline is just…ugh. “Don’t mess with him. He will strike back.” That’s the best you got? Oy…

This character design is so lazy. The author just said, “I like Jensen Ackles, my character is played by Jensen Ackles!!!” LOL
