Here’s what fascinates me: the art is terrible, the image is artifacted, and the layout is boring as hell. The author (probably the cover artist too) thinks it’s perfectly acceptable to submit this as their final product.
“Don’t judge a book by its cover” is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard regarding books, especially considering all the tools and resources we have access to today. Do you honestly think a person who’s invested so little on their cover would have used more effort in their writing? Or even vice-versa? Not only that, but a cover like this is off-putting to many people.

I think the dog also designed the cover. (When he wasn’t busy devouring toddlers.) Either way, he needs to be put down.
