Judging by the author’s bio on that same page, written by a guy who’s been consuming copious amounts of LSD.
Maybe the weird heart was meant to be a bug eyed alien giving a kiss, but it makes me think a very different part of anatomy. If the blurb didn’t give an exhaustive list of plot details, I would have thought it was a tongue in cheek book about tooting.
