That book was published six years ago. Affordable book covers didn’t exist back then. It’s too bad that Shannon hasn’t gone back and given this one a facelift.
Shannon ran the LL Book Review blog for several years, but shuttered it about three years ago. They supplied indie authors with book reviews back when only a handful of blogs would dare do so. Some of the covers on that site were positively dreadful. This one would’ve been better than at least 3/4 of them. That’s not to say it’s excusable, I’m just sayin’.
