I actually like the font used for the title. Too bad about the white-on-white parts.

There is the full moon before us. There is a second light source behind the ship which cannot be the setting or rising sun with the full moon in that position. The rocks appear to be lit from the left. The standing figure appears to me to be back lit.

That’s four different light sources. Maybe it is Time and Space Pirates, and this planet has four luminous bodies.

PosRein: I will agree that is a nice shade of blue.

I like the pirate ship, because it would allow me to open the novel with “Suddenly, pirate ships loomed on the horizon!”

I like the name Evelina. It reminds me of a famous 18th-century novel I did a paper on in college.

I like the colors and the layout of the artwork. That said, I don’t know what exactly is supposed to be happening. “Hey guys, get over here and check out my juggling”?

PosRe: I think the faint glow around the ship has merit. It draws the eye to the ship and prevents it from fading into the dark background, without being so excessive as to make the ship look like it’s literally glowing.

Yet another cover where the author’s name is BIGGER than the title. Sigh…

The moon. Because this time, it’s round.
