A Werewolf in Office Clothing

Not a terribly enthusiastic wolf, is he.

Nothing about this says “office” to me. Including the title. Perhaps if the author had chosen a font color that actually showed up on the background photo, s/he would have noticed the error?

You mean how the title on the cover says “Offie” and not office?

Let’s assume the typo wasn’t there. Shouldn’t this cover have featured a scene from an office somewhere?

I went to the Amazon page for this book to see what the reviewers had to say. This has 64 reviews, 35 of which are 1-star reviews. None of them mention an office. They do, however, mention that this book contains bestiality scenes. I no longer want to think about what *should* be on the cover of this book. Because I can’t bleach the possibilities out of my brain.

So not only is it bestiality, but it is badly written bestiality?

Isn’t it about time someone wrote some non horrible bestiality?! That is all that ever comes through the virtual domain. I mean seriously people, would it hurt you to do some research on animals, tentacles, dinosaurs, mythical creatures, or whatever before you start writing? It is very frustrating!

um

I mean, that is icky!

Aspect ratio? The whole thing is a sorry mess, but I’m not seeing a problem with the aspect ratio. Or have I just been staring at distorted rubbish for so long I can’t even tell the difference any more?

I’d also like to point out that the ‘werewolf’ isn’t wearing any clothing at all. Or maybe he just took it offie?

Just to prove that I have no life, I looked up the original of the wolf image. This version has been horizontally squashed by about 25%. The distortion has the effect of increasing his rather timorous, “you want me to do *what*?” expression.

Maybe he’s been dieting so he can fit into his offie clothing.

I checked your calculations! (How sad is that!) And I make it ~10% vertical stretching. Which is almost subtle by the standards of this site. But you’re right, it really is distorted, and the distortion makes him look less wolfish and more tentative.

Casual Friday?

For some reason his countenance reminds me of a Jehovah’s witness at my door, waiting, just waiting, for me to slam it.

No, he neither intimidates, nor threatens.
