Self publishing gives them wonderful opportunities.
They give us covers with type over faces.
I’m on the verge. Tina! Bring me the axe!!
The type over the faces is to distract attention from the compressed blonde, and the fact that she was clearly sourced from a photo that stopped before the top of her hair.

Daaaaamn, that blonde is tall! Or she’s standing in a bar made for pre-school kids… I guess either is possible.
What’s with text across faces lately? Is it a new trend in lousy design?
