What does the “N” stand for, I don’t wonder?

Maybe it’s just me, but I find it kind of creepy that someone would write children’s lit under such an obvious and ridiculous pen name. Is this Pee Wee Herman’s new alias?

When an author is so flagrant in hiding his/her identity, you begin to wonder why they don’t want others to know that they’re writing kids lit.

From the way the shops are clearly just flat frontages, and how far down the sky comes behind them without any sign of more landscape, I’m assuming Boring Town is a studio lot on a cliff edge, so terror seems entirely possible.
