Wait, we’re looking INTO the big end of the binoculars and seeing a torso. What?
I like the text treatment and even the font but that imagery is waaaay mixed up. Also fabulous that those green military-issue binoculars are glowing. Must make it easy to find them in the dark.

Hm. You can see by the two covers here that the author is making an effort to brand these books as part of a series, and I think the basic idea is sound. But in that case he needs to have a similar treatment for the illustrations, just not what’s being done for either of these covers.

Hm. You can see by the two covers here that the author is making an effort to brand these books as part of a series, and I think the basic idea is sound. But in that case he needs to have a similar treatment for the illustrations, just not what’s being done for either of these covers.
