Is it just me or is the byline in two different fonts?

It’s bizarre. It’s not even bloody aligned. It’s like his cover designer screwed up, and they parted company acrimoniously. Then he realized, “oh, hell, the reason I was so mad at him is because he didn’t put my name on there correctly…and it still isn’t!”

And, hey, it’s no big deal. Those two fonts can hardly be told apart, even by hi-priced deeeesign perfeshnuls. They’re both black, right?

Nah, it was that tsunami. You know. Blew his hatting right off his heading.

Splitting “fruit stand” between two separate lines makes me parse it as not a single thing (a stand that sells fruit) but as a noun and verb (a fruit that stands up).

It’s almost like getting two titles for the price of one.

I’m not sure which one sounds more thrilling.

Glad you said that AJ; poor line breaking for sense is one of my biggest gripes. If they were dead set on using that big ol’ dull grey sky, there would have been plenty of room for

At least the picture in the lower right is from Guam. That is Agana Heights in the distance.

Damn, now I want a Spam Slam from the Denny’s on Guam.

Maybe the storm blew in the word “Hatting” from another book cover.
