Adult Coloring Book For Trees

Um… Isn’t it standard for this genre to feature an image on the cover typical of the pages you’d color? (h/t Red)

A lovely photo with a lovely font… but I don’t think the author even knows what a coloring book is. Or wherever he’s from they have very different coloring books.

Do not buy this if you expect a coloring book. It is filled with low resolution black and white photos that don’t even fill the page. The paper is bad quality, and if you look at the top, the border is cut off. The photos aren’t even original! One has an image of an old car, looks like a Geo Metro from the 80s. I feel like this “author” just google image searched some trees and called it a day.

Absolutely terrible quality in every possible sense. Shame on Chinmoy Mukherjee for trying to pass this off as a coloring book.

That’s from the single one-star review. There are photos of the inside of the book if anyone’s interested. I don’t know what the author had in mind, coloring over black and white photos? Is that even a thing?

Maybe we’re looking at it wrong. The title does say the book is an adult that’s meant to be used by trees. Maybe trees have different coloring books? Kinda morbid if you consider books are dead trees…

It would be like a book made of human flesh.

That would be interesting to see (provided the skin was taken from humans that passed away from natural causes, not slaughtered for it, or worse, skinned alive). Not that hard to imagine if you consider that vellum was made out of calf, goat or sheep skin.

In the Evil Dead movie franchise they have the “Necronomicon Ex-Mortis” bound in human flesh (the cover looks like a face) … should it appear here?

Are there trees to color inside?

As I recall the movies, they flip through a lot of illustrated pages. Not sure if I saw any trees. Good excuse for a movie nite to answer that question.

Oh, I would LOVE to watch those again. I think a movie night would be in order.

I hope the trees have enough money to buy the full 64 box of crayons.

The pictures posted on Amazon from this book are all black and white. Which raises the nagging off topic question. Would a full box of crayons for the color blind be white, black, and 62 shades of grey?

No, colorblind have a special set made just for them, consisting of 52 pieces.

Fortunately, the trees’ adult parts are censored.

Because even trees like to get their sexy on with a bit of naughty colouring!

Gee, I knew trees had limbs. But they have no hands, so it’s gonna be hard for them to color in a book.

Look, I wanted an adult to colour this book for us. And it is in black and white! Not pleased at all.
