……..creepy.

Also, the summary:

“A friend has to wear a tether. He can’t go anywhere. She’ll bring it to him.”

That’s it. That’s the whole thing.

Nathan!

Are you trying to get me fired? All that . . . whatever that is . . . all over the cover? Just so wrong.

This needed a “not safe for work” tag, NSFW warning. But. If I had this up at work, people would laugh at me, though. It’s lame fer sexy.

TBH – I don’t need a NSFW tag for this.

BUT – I do get a definite underage vibe that raises the “ICK” factor for this cover, making it just that much more suited for LBC.

Nah she’s at least 30. Or those dark circles under her eyes show serious debauchery for anyone younger.

If you’re going to put a naked girl on your cover, then put a naked girl on your cover. A pretty girl is a pretty girl. This just seems lurid and cowardly.

I think Amazon doesn’t allow nakedness.

She looks more like someone caught her changing into a swimming suit than she looks seductive.

Cyan teardrops? What became of good old black boxes? Or strategically placed gerbils?

Because blue dollops placed strategically makes porny pictures okay.

I just hope the photographer didn’t do anything that violates privacy laws to get this picture…

I don’t know what possessed me to look inside.

The Online Reader gave me four completely blank pages.

The epub version was a bit better. It held two lines:

Tethered

“Hi, Summer. What’s up?”

“I heard you were lonely. Thought I’d come visit.”

OK, I can accept that not everyone is good at making covers. But how can you upload something on Smashwords and then not even look inside to check? This is a whole ‘nother level of don’t-give-a-fuckary.

Yeah. A hot chick stripping down to her birthday suit will sell lotsa books. You betcha! And those pulled-down red panties will make it even better.

Oh, wait, don’t want the cover to wind up NSFW. Well, hey, I’ll just draw some aqua pasties over the offending anatomies. Problem solved! 🙂
