So close to being good. The background drawing is good (although I’m betting it’s swiped from somewhere). Ditch the Wolfie, fix the font and it could work.

Yes, more Wolfie, please.

Yeah, Catie, but…while the drawing is pretty good, it’s channeling a whole lotta old-fashioned. Some of the perspective work is a bit wonky, but I agree–overall, it’s not dreadful. At least, not until we get WOLFIE.

And really, what is this, Ladyhawke week?

Hey, if we got covers here that are HALF the sumptuous eyeball feast that was Ladyhawke–arguably, Michele Pfeiffer at her MOST gorgeous, and Rutger at his most handsome, and AWESOME cinematography–our work here would be done. 🙂

And that damn horse was pretty handsome, too.

Don’t forget Mathew Broderick at his cutest. Some girls prefer the cute ones.

Miniature wolf or enormous hawk?

Well…I must say, if you’ve ever seen real desert coyotes, they are not huge. Agreed–not wolves, of course. But then, view them up against an eagle hawk, and DANG!

I concur, though, that that cover looks like that is one heavy-duty HeavyLift Hawk. Probably that famous bird, the Sikorsky Hawk.
