Is that name “Werewolf Romance”?

What is the yellowy thing around Wolfie’s torso? The area that would be a belt, sorta, on a human? We get the Incredible Hulk britches, of course (ever wonder what happens to the tail? Hunh? Hunh?), the wolfie-12-pack, and in between then…the Demilitarized Zone of Werewolves. What is that?

Angry boy is sporting some cool bell-bottoms, or his legs are on upside down.

Poor yellow moon is slowly deflating.

Wolfie looks like a drawing of a bad werewolf costume.

The floor tiles/ bricks are rising up behind them and warping into another dimension.

(sigh)

OK, I understand that drawing people is hard. Drawing werewolves even harder. Perspective is tricky. But how difficult can it be to draw a freaking circle??? A circle, FFS.

In all fairness to this cover, the real moon is not actually a circle, either.

That might have been a posren, but I’m not sure.

It’s not a misshapen yellow blob either šŸ˜› I think I prefer those squished/stretched ones Nathan hates so much.

Why is the werewolf’s hand backwards? Is he a rakshasa?

Sheesh, Katz, it’s OBvious. ‘Cuz he’s doing bicep curls with wolf-boy’s wedding tackle, for heaven’s sake. Humans have dumbbells; wolfie has dumbballs.

I would be howling in pain too if my paw/hand was being crushed by an invisible vice.
