I don’t think the art is horrible. It has interesting texture that gets your attention. Its better than a lot of what we see here (though I’m confused about the blue stuff on the person’s shoulder. Football padding? Part of an outfit?) That said, I really don’t like the background–it has a very different feel to it, a photo instead of being part of the painting of the figure, no texture at all, and the font is just bad. There needs to be more effort making this cover cohesive, conceived and executed as a whole, not in non-related pieces.

To me, it feels like a modern day (kinda) “Reefer Madness” put out by the Ladies’ Temperance League.
