In For a Penny

It’s a Victorian romantic comedy. As one can clearly see.

I had no idea that they had Polaroid cameras during the Victorian era.
I learn so much by visiting LBC!

Victorian Romantic Comedy?

A better cover would have been Oscar Wilde getting all Sacher-Masoch freaky with the Bronte sisters. Now THAT would be a Victorian comedy of epic proportions.

!. Comedy? Uh…droll colors do not a comedy make.
2. Victorian? Oh, right, I remember those big honkin’ heavy faux-gold bracelets as being HUGE in the Victorian era, right?
3. Is the Doily supposed to convey Victoriana?

I do not get it.

I can’t tell if those are authentically old coins, but the one she’s holding looks like it was on the track when the train went by.

What the hell is wrong with her fingers? Her hand looks like a rubber glove filled with water.
