Sweetest Treat

Given the other clues, maybe that is a swirl of melted chocolate behind them.

Not really what I want to see while nursing a hangover.

Nursing a hangover! I am shocked, Prudence!

The proper response to a hangover is always hair of the dog.

The only reason I get hangovers is because I’ve momentarily stopped drinking.

The nursing inevitably comes when my friends stop buying drinks. Curse the cheap bastards!

This would be an arresting, creative, and compelling cover if it weren’t for the lousy font choices. Too bad… 🙁

Cover image says steamy romance. Font says Willy Wonka.
Oh, novelty fonts. The cover is alright otherwise.
My handwriting is a novelty font, so I can’t say much! But why??

Strangely enough, it seems both are… well, ‘appropriate,’ if not ‘advisable.’ 😉 The blurb, for your reading pleasure:

“Cursed by an evil witch, Meesh and her brother Mitch will now crave sweets forever. In Meesh’s case, it’s barely contained until the one day she walks into the new sweet shop in town. Meesh encounters something that she craves more than sugar.”

Ooh-err, missus!

The woman looks a awful lot like annoying singing sensation Lana Del Ray. Did they simply lift that image from a music video?

The whole thing says “Hershey highway” to me.

When all I could see was the top of the cover, I thought, “You know, that’s not too bad for self-publishing.” Then I scrolled down and saw the fonts.
