Spear: A Spear in Flight

You’re never too young to appear on a bad book cover.

This would be soooooo less disturbing without that newborn in the background. At least the baby is washed after birth, although I wouldn’t be surprised if they had put it all covered with blood and whatnot. Ugh.

I’m not sure the art is so terribly bad so much as it’s C&P (and bad C&P, too; the bottom of the “window” is off.)

Then again…that baby…and that font….

Isn’t this book titled “Spear a Spear in Flight”? There is no colon on the cover…

How do you spear a spear?? … In flight?
That infant on the cover has every reason
to be crying

Oh! A spear! A spear in flight!
Re, a drop of golden sun…
Me, a name, I call myself,
Fa, a long long way to run…
So, a needle pulling thread,
La, a note to follow So…
Ti, a drink with jam and bread…
That will bring us back to-

..uh, this terrible cover, unfortunately.

Oh! Thank you so much for that new rendition
of Do Re Mi! It makes me appreciate spears
in a whole new light.

Matt Nelson! You should start doing book blurbs.

Too busy with my own projects to start doing book blurbs, unfortunately. 😀 Thanks for the appreciation though!

I thought the Sith guy in the background had some sort of hand deformity before I realised what was going on.
