Bitter Moon Over Brooklyn

I guess if “Brooklyn” is the name of the kaiju-sized woman in the river…

Gives a whole new meaning to It Came From Beneath The Sea.

Seriously, why mess up a perfectly acceptable shot of the bridge with a giant woman and that odd swatch of maroon across the sky?

> kaiju-sized woman…

LOL. I can just picture her opening her mouth and letting out a Godzilla-roar.

And yeah, WTH is up with that utterly weird swatch of color over the sky? Your white title text would have shown up just fine against a blue-black sky, honest!

“a novel by”? Figures. This is what Clocktower Books says about themselves:

“Publisher works with author and any outside editor/illustrator as needed. Clocktower Books has never had any paid staff.

While Clocktower Books has never had any paid staff, our associated editors are experienced, college-educated professionals who work with the author to ensure the highest editorial quality.”

For free? If you believe that, I’ve got some land for sale in Florida…

Second thought: That’s the Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan? I am not an expert on the bridges from/to Brooklyn but that looks more like the George Washington Bridge between Manhattan and Ft Lee NJ.

First thought, if the Japanese movie version is made first, the American English-dubbed version will open with A-bomb Test Baker of Operation Crossroads whether or not the Japanese version blames nuclear testing for creating the Kaiju.

It’s definitely not the Brooklyn Bridge, nor is it the George. Maybe it’s the Williamsburg Bridge. At least the Williamsburg goes to Brooklyn.
