I wonder how they got those cowboy hats to stay on those Abercrombie & Fitch mannequins.

The cover of this book suggests it might be recycling the polyandry plot of the Western Paint Your Wagon, in which Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin share Jean Seberg as their bride; and if that’s not crazy enough, it’s a musical! What was the target audience, you may ask? Good question: no one ever found the answer, evidently, since that film flopped in theaters; much the same way this book’s sales probably will on Amazon.

This book also brings to mind a parody The Simpsons did of that movie, which I’m running on my computer right now. Hey, if the book can recycle a plot, I can recycle a parody.

Everyone is missing the truly awesome point: the levitating horse. I am anticipating a Western version of “Clash of the Titans” — Pegasus, Perseus, Andromeda, and Caliban.

(This CGI cover shuddabin given as a mockup to a painter to do a real book cover)

You’re right–the floating horse is pretty freaking awesome. So, that makes my question even more powerful–where’s Rudolph, dammit? And the ‘Bominable? And the dentist elf kid? Sheesh.

I feel sorry for Brown Hat guy. Not only is he a pseudo-human, but he was assembled from spare parts. His legs are very different lengths and his left arm was made from a spare snake, with all its twist and turns.

Oh, and I think Yellow Hat guy is about to get slapped because he is going in for a pseudo-squeeze.

Yeah, but Brown Hat looks like he’s got some hefty equipment to keep Pseudo Gal happy.

Pos Re: Characters are attempting to literally enact the book’s title. Erm… that IS good, isn’t it?

This is disturbing. It really looks like the fake woman is being molested by the two fake men.

What is this style of graphic and how are they made? The people and horse look like mannequins.

They are computer genertated mannequins like the figures in videogames. They usually have no emotions in their facial expressions and remind me of pod people from “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”. Nathan tags them as “pseudohumans”.

My favorite part might possibly be the woman’s knees.
