Pardon me, Mr. Pegasus F, but did you happen to find a soul around here?

It’s blue, a little banged up, but I swear I had it when I came in here last night to take a quick dip.

I try to remember to keep a few paper towels in my pocket when I go outdoors this time of year. When August hits, my allergies act up like that horse’s.

It is hard to tell through all the fog, but that “sea” seems to be angling sharply down to the left.

There’s a character named after a Roman sword?

I’m guessing that the author, “J.A. Paul,” is using a pseudonym and that this book somehow alludes to Saint Paul, whose attribute is a sword (both because he was executed by beheading with a sword, and because of a much-quoted passage in which he uses the phrase that is rendered in Latin as “spiritus gladius” (the sword of the spirit).

So, more attention was probably paid to the title and pseudonym than to the cover art or, I would guess, the story itself.

Wow, I never would have made that connection.

What’s that thing on the guy’s head? Donald Trump’s old pelt-toupee? You know, before he got that orange hair and had to update it…

Man, this brought back bad memories of being sneezed on by my cousin’s horse at my 5th birthday party and all the other kids laughing at me getting covered in green horse snot. Nathan, I’m sending you this month’s therapy bill.
