Sorry, Celeste

Sorry, Celeste

I did my best to make sure that the author is not a precocious eleven-year-old.

Since there’s no comma, I assume this is a book about someone named Celeste who is sorry, probably in the sense of something being a “sorry” piece of work, which is exactly what the cover is.

1. “Sorry” looks like Torry or Lorry to me.
2. Minus points for failing to completely erase your first attempt at “Celeste” that you misspelled.
3. The title looks handwritten and yet still looks like it was done in two different fonts. Double-Fail on that.
4. I will assume the girl’s face is actually disfigured, but the drawing makes it look more like fold-lines from being in your pocket too long. Those lines don’t like natural in any way.
5. … (I will stop here- I’m sure others can keep the list going)

5. ‘Sorry’ also looks like ‘Jorry’.

Another amateur cover where the ego-tripping author’s name is bigger than the title.

And, BTW, that title will be unreadable in thumbnail.
