If you seek a pleasant cover, look elsewhere.

Yeah, the cover is not nearly as bad as the state motto.

Michigan has a disconnected enclave in Canada?

Michigan’s Isle Royale in Lake Superior about fifteen miles from the Canadian shore. I learn so much after being confused by a lousy book cover and having to do research to make sense of it.

I suspect it’s about global warming, Lake Superior is almost gone, and Lake Huron is drying up, too.

Nothing screams action and suspense like a drawing of county lines. Wow.

I dunno. A lot of drive-in goers found Macon County Line action-packed and suspenseful (1974, budget $225,000, box office $30 million). Michigan: 2015 with 83 county lines oughta be 83 times the action and suspense!
