I see the light! They should have paint traced this cover.

Is it me or her ribs are weird? And the guy’s stomach, just above the pelvis, more weirdness. Not as weird as the faces, though.

Also weird that I thought both were women. I still think that he might really be a she.

I concur. He’s a her. *snort*

It’s the jaw. The jaw is the most masculine thing on the face, but here the woman one has a stronger jaw than a man one.

“…guy’s stomach, just above the pelvis, more weirdness.”

His ‘love handles’? I don’t think the model lived the life style implied by the cover: outdoor exercise and natural diet.

Like I tell my teenage daughters – “Your loincloth is so short, I don’t even know why you bother.”

This reminds me very much of the style of art you’d see on fantasy novels in the 70’s.

The person on the left has no fingers on its right hand…

From their POV their left is your right. So in a manner you’re right either way.

There is a lovely pink planet in the sky. Can’t be a sun because it’s darker than the sky.

Given the title, I think it is actually meant to be a planet. I’m willing to extend them that much credit, anyway.

However, I won’t go so far as to suggest that these two creatures are meant to look like weird aliens.

I think I saw the one on the right go down with the Titanic.

Is that a ruler in her hand? And if so, what’s she going to measure?

Gee, his belly button is really high up on his tummy. Oh, well, minor anatomy art quibbles…

For the love of God, male-ish guy on the right, why did you choose a loincloth that’s so perilously SHORT? You’re making me nervous just looking at you!

And is the lady on the left holding a snake with rigor mortis?
