What art?

I don’t think random imagery applies, since I don’t really see any actual images here. It’s more like just random.

Random letters, perhaps. Forming a meaningless word. Maybe it’s a book of poetry.

I think one could apply the Nagilum tag here. But I know Nathan doesn’t care and neither do I.

Regardless, left over bits of clip-art do not a cover make.

I’m getting ‘angry person getting office supplies thrown at her face.’ Is that right? Do I get a point for getting close?

When two abstract characters collide, they bleed wild colors all over your cover.

Read the book, and perhaps you’ll understand the cover. Speculating on it, especially on a website geared to trolling people’s covers, is the worst way to try and understand something.

FYI : A psychological thriller, dealing with two different minds in the same place. Hence…Scattered faces.

Except that every potential reader that comes across it will do just that–speculate what that mess is supposed to be about. And these ^ are potential readers’ first impressions upon seeing the cover. A lot of those potential readers will just go “Yeah, NO” and move on, but some might be intrigued enough to read the blurb in hopes of finding out WTF they’re looking at. From that small number some might be intrigued enough by the blurb, but there will be enough of those that will go “hell, I’m still not reading something that looks like THAT.” Now, wouldn’t it be better for the sales (not to mention more readers and fans + better overall reader satisfaction) if every potential reader that comes across the cover goes “Wow, that’s an amazing/intriguing/beautiful/artful/whatever cover, I have to check it out”? As opposed to “WTF is that?”

BTW, people that don’t want to be trolled shouldn’t make it so damn easy.
