The Enterprise “Testimony”

Offered without comment, because I can’t think of one that does this cover justice.

*SPOILER ALERT* Wait, what? The author is dead now, and writing from the Great Beyond?

(Just when I thought the writing is as bad as it could be…)

So… he wants us to think he’s Jesus and that he took the time to write this book after his resurrection?

Look buddy, you ain’t Jesus. You can draw as many little pictures of you hanging on a cross as you want, but it won’t convince anyone. Also, not buying the whole “I’m dead but I’m writing my memoirs” thing.

Maybe you didn’t mean either of those, but that is what your book cover is telling me.

I’ll add that I clicked through and read the blurb on this book, so I now know that the author isn’t claiming to be Jesus or to be dead.

Unfortunately, the cover implies both when you talk about your “demise” and show a drawing of yourself on a cross. You could lose some sales because of that. Fix the cover and you just might get more sales.

What sales? Anybody who reads that blurb will run away in horror.

“Tony was raised to believe that people are suppose to be held responsible for their own actions whether good or bad and that devious devils will throw rocks and hide their hands. Would Tony take his chances with being judge by twelve and walking out the court room a free man, knowing it could spell the remainder of his life seeking resurrection from the cross that awaits him. Or will Tony take the easiest most evil way out of the predicament which he finds himself as his co-defendants?”

If he wants any sales, he needs to fix the book first. Hire an editor. Spend some of that hard earned drug money.

A drug baron who compares himself to Jesus being crucified when his minions sell him out to the Law? Mmmm yeah, ’cause there’s NO WAY anyone’d find that the LEAST bit offensive..!

Hey, sold out to the law by your friends for illicit activity is sold out to the law by your friends for illicit activity, right? Let’s not quibble over whether passively resistance of an unjust system is better or worse than drugs.

It’s a photo finish, but losing to a slinky and two tombstones must be embarrassing for a Playa’.
