If I was a seeker of something to read and found this, I would toss it into the creek.
Is there not even one character in your book that is interesting enough to picture on your cover? The most exciting thing you have is a moss-covered slope and some stagnant water? Really?
Apparently, the title refers to someone SEEKING the interesting object in this cover. The FINDING part, not so much. I mean, really? We’ve seen worse, Gods know, but still….

I like this cover because it reminds me of the creek behind my Aunt Gladys and Uncle Fred’s farm in Louisa, Kentucky. A creek next to a hillside with the creek bed worn down to bed rock.
But it doesn’t perk my interest in “Finders Seekers” as a historical novel and I hope no one says it’s one of those “you have to read the book to understand the cover” covers.

Um… probably being pedantic here, but surely once you’ve ‘found’ something you don’t need to ‘seek’ it any more?

That would require some people stock photos or a photoshooting session with a model or two, or maybe a good artist. In other words, moneys.
