Chaos in the Kitchen: A My Sexy Chef Story

Trying to come up with a “stuffing” joke that doesn’t sound hopelessly crude… (h/t Sydney)

Chaos is an appropriate description of the cover.

The woman has been photoshopped under the guy’s arm, right? She looks… smaller than she should be. Or she’s a little kid. Worst Thanksgiving ever.

Right? Something is definitely off in terms of scale.

Well there’s certainly chaos. Who uses two different italics at the same time?

This cover very strongly says “romance novel”: Everything is chopped off on at least one end.

Aside from everything else wrong here, does anyone else think “A My Sexy Chef Story” sounds really awkward? I think I know what she’s going for there, but my brain just rebels every time I try to say it.

Almost as if she’s trying to talk about a sexy chef named Amy.

YES, I noticed that too and it bugged the hell out of me. And yes, I knew what she was going for, but…it’s just ungrammatical as hell. If naught else, she should enclose the “My Sexy Chef” in quotation marks.

I don’t think I’d want to eat anything that had been cooked in this kitchen. It doesn’t look as though proper hygiene standards are being observed.
