The Power of Ages: River of Life

I’d make fun of it if I knew what I was looking at.

Somehow I don’t think the Power of Ages is a bar stool made out of golf clubs.

Is that the phantom of the opera at his country villa? Looks like the ghost is standing on his portico looking out over his estate, meanwhile behind him is his Black-and-Decker table saw on its flimsy stand, ready to cut more floor tiles to finish off the latest home improvement project.

Who’s next in trying to interpret this layered mess?

I thought it was the Grim Reaper’s ghost looking at an awkward walker, left on the balcony after Gramps took a “wrong turn.”

Here I thought it was a sentient table saw crossed with an extraterrestrial.

Not even the ghost knows what he’s looking at.

Don’t you just hate it when you take a photo and then realize your shadow is in the frame as well? You should never position yourself so the sun is directly behind you.

I don’t know what this is a picture of, but I’m sure it’s powerful and aged. And maybe river-of-life-y too.

I also love that this book has two titles.

I know who killed Mr. Body!
It was Shadow Black, in the garden, with the ban-saw!

It’s the ghost of Norm Abram haunting a bad Connecticut Yankee Workshop project.
