The Winds of Fate

Whaaat’s with the filters?  I think it’s an attempt to make the photographic couple look like the painted background.

Its not the worst cover I’ve ever seen, sure up close you can see the flaws but it’s not unfixable. Though I wonder if the filter was used because the stock photo was jarring against the painted backdrop.

The problem is the filter applied to the photographed couple does not blend, it contrasts, with the painted backdrop.

The only thing that really bugs me about this one is the guy’s haircut–too modern. Otherwise, like Tiffany said, this isn’t the lousiest. It could use some help, yes, but it shouts historical romance, the color scheme is vivid, and the text is polished and thoughtfully done. Even the filter use isn’t unbearable, if overly obvious.

Sorry–I can’t bear his teeth. They’re just…there. You can’t miss them.

Too funny, when I came to the page just now, first thing I saw was his teeth! And that was before I scrolled to your comment.

They couldn’t find an easier way to kiss?

They are rubbing chins and noses.
I think that’s an Eskimo thing.
This cover is a puzzle, aint it?
