When the messenger pigeon poops on your cover it’s not enough to just wipe it off and think that’s okay.

Pigeons with such poor eyesight it’s unlikely they will ever deliver any message.

The messenger pigeon returns to its home via magnetoreception (navigating its perception of the earth’s magnetic field); however, if they are nearsighted or blind, they do have an unfortunate habit of flying into electric fences, windmills, billboards, etc.

Passenger Pigeons have been extinct for just over a century now, so that would actually be pretty impressive.
