Died True Blue

Died True Blue

All of the covers in this series are similarly horrible. Branding, I suppose. (h/t Tuula)

No blue on the cover. Does she mean dyed true blue? Looks like a dye vat in the background. Massive fail here, IMHO.

Oh, and for a good laugh, go read the synopsis on Amazon. 🙂

Read the LookInside! The plot has a killer amongst the Suffolk folk involving the local wool trade and blue dyes. So “Died True Blue”. Now it’s all clear.

Are those the grandparents of Mr. Biohacker from the cover posted earlier? They do look like partial cyborgs, with those claw hands and weird heads. The woman might even be an alien in a wig.

Actually, what’s really odd is, I could swear that that female figure is a puppet. Isn’t that what she looks like? A string puppet? I’m getting “Thunderbirds are Go!” here.

Go ahead, tell me you don’t see that. G’wan.

Once you point it out it is hard to unsee. Maybe she’s an ancestor of the “Team America: World Police”?

I know, right? I’ve been trying to unsee it since, well, I saw it. And yes. probably an ancestor, fo’sho. I have no doubt she could spawn all KINDS of stuff…

I figured it out–it’s the angle of the head, to the neck/body. That’s why she looks like a puppet.
