Guardian: The Unworthy Hero

The cityscape is kinda sorta almost competent, but then the guy was added… (h/t DED)

Man – this looks familiar. I am certain we had a similar cover that was much more amateurish.

Lf the edge of the building had been superimposed over the feet and the end of the lance(?), it might have worked.

With the feet and thingee pasted on the side of the building, it reminds me of Bert I. Gordon’s “giant” grasshoppers crawling on postcards of Chicago landmarks in “Beginning of the End”.

The cityscape is kinda cool with the rain streaks and all; I don’t even mind the (totally giant) guy too much (well, except for his giant chopstick or is that a knitting needle…). It has a real graphic-novel vibe. I don’t like the blue with the shades of gray; it doesn’t have enough contrast and the type practically disappears.

It’s not lousy, exactly, just so-so.

That’s quite a baguette.

Yup, if you’re stand on top of a tall building, makes total sense to stand right on the very edge, facing backwards…
