That’s been done already. Jul 1958 Robert Heinlein wrote “–All You Zombies–” about an intersex impregnated by a timetraveling version of herself (who had a sex change due to complications of the C-sect delivery of their baby), published in Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, Mar 1959. And no, I have not spoiled the real twists in the plot.
