Burl Barer? Well, um, that’s an interesting nom de plume.

Especially since he (if he’s the dude in the middle) appears to be shirtless in his selfie.

I wonder if he has a brother named Paul?

An author close to perfection? One who does not understand the importance of a competent cover? I not buying the self aggrandizing brag – nor the book.

As soon as I see someone bragging about their perfection I instantly become repulsed by their attitude. It is a Canadian thing I think.

I don’t think Canada has a claim on that sense of repulsion. I’m American and I share this feeling as well. I think it has to do with proper upbringing.

Perfect. I will share my repulsion of this attitude, and any other unsanitary attitudes that show up here, with you anytime my fine swan.

That one totally deserves a WTF tag, too… Somedays I think we’re losing this battle and I just want to curl up in a corner and sob. 😉

Even great-grandpa’s 3-D stereopticon didn’t help.
