The Heart Of The Primary

With that art, this cover could have been good. Then Papyrus happened.

A horse-dragon? Bwahahaha… And not just the head, the legs, too.

The official term for the dragon horse is the Longma. This is clearly a Longma. Certainly not the most common of the mythical horses out there, but useful in comedic pairings with a Kelpie.

Nobody and nothing was going to keep him from being elected… except for the Papyrus font on his fliers.

There is nothing that cannot be made worse with the use of P apyrus.

Papyrus.
Not even once.

In defense (not really) of Papyrus, the artwork would make this a lousy cover with any font. For all the detail in the human(?) figure, it’s all wrong. Arms/legs/hands/butts/backs/necks/heads/torsos don’t work like that.

I agree. The textures are good and I like the Blakean palette, but the composition is poor and the drawing skills on display here are actually quite bad.

Plus that’s a derpy looking animal whatever name it goes by.

The back end of that creature looks like melted wax or perhaps a semi absorbed twin limb.
