It looks like some kind of map, but I can’t figure out what it’s a map of. Area codes?
I wonder if it is a picture of a war themed board game, some of them look similar to this.
It’s actually a map of the Inner Sphere taken from one of the Mechwarrior RPGs. Looks like it’s around 3051, just after the Clans invaded. Seeing as how he has a Shadowhawk mech on his first cover, and the Amazon blurb mentions a character from the Mechwarrior universe, I’d guess this guy’s writing fan fiction and selling it–for $6 for 27 pages. Good luck with that!
That appears to be the Inner Sphere Map from Battletech, post clan invasion. I have to admit, this one made me perk up, so for an EXTREMELY narrow clientele it has effect. 🙂
