Okay – had to look. This book was published through a vanity press (which explains why a 92-page boo costs over $10) with this reputation: Since Strategic Book Publishing and Rights Agency began operating as a fee-charging literary agency in 2001 (under a different name), Writer Beware has received hundreds of complaints and advisories of fees for literary agency services, fees for publishing, and paid critique and editing referrals. Other questionable practices include selling marketing services to authors, charging authors to attend book fairs, and referring clients to other branches of the business without revealing the connection…
And it goes on and on.
Ignorant newbie authors writing in a vacuum not only don’t know how to get a decent cover, they fall prey to these leeches and doom any hope of publishing a successful book. IF ONLY they would do research FIRST! *smh*
This is the stuff of nightmares…the cover, the title/subtitle, all of it, especially that cat-like figure with boobs(?) and strangely deformed limbs. It’s creepy and uninviting. Textbook-bad cover art for what seems a confused and potentially textbook-bad story. Yuck!

The Sphinx was supposed to be part human, part lion, and sometimes part bird. But THIS thing… part house cat, part human, part snail (the body), part house cat again (the tail), part pig (the forelegs), and part Dolly Parton (you know which part(s)). And all, 100% creepy and ugly.
It makes me want to clear the browsing history on my eyeballs.
