I think the umbilical cord should be pointing the other way.

It’s an alien ghost baby that is getting it’s nourishment from either the aether or from environmental electromagnetic fields. Or the aliens are feeding it telekineticly. It doesn’t need a placenta.

That must be one of the “Don’ts.”

Hmmmm. The illustrations of Pregnancy and Placenta at Wikipedia show the fetus in the uterus with its back to the mom’s belly and its front to her spine, with umbilical cord attached to the wall the uterus facing the spine, not to the mom’s navel.

If it’s on the internet, it must be true. But if it’s contradictory, what should I accept: the result of edit wars between WikiP editors many of whom are doctors or med students, or a self-pub’d mom?

What are the red globs on her fingers?

Oh, when an author doesn’t even know how to properly capitalize their own name, I lose confidence in their ability to make it through a whole book full of other grammatical thing-a-ma-jigs.

Yikes. Craptastic graphics and all the grammar, punctuation, and style skills of a lemur with alphabet blocks. I hope she’s a better mom than a writer/designer cuz her skills on display here are not selling me on the expectant (wink-wink) quality of her advice.

Wow, a “2 time mom”. That’s like two degrees in obstetrics and physical fitness, very nice.
