I never realized that Vegas was on the ocean.

It’s a sea of windswept, purple sand.

Oh dear, their torsos are weirdly stretched. Are they ghosts? Sharing their incorporeal bodies with another spirit that looks a bit like Shakespeare. Or something. Set in the far distant past when the last ice age created the inland sea, flooding the middle of America and drowning Las Vegas. Are there dinosaurs?

Or no that would be between ice ages when the earth was hot and the ice was melted.

Actually you would have to go all the way back to the Mesozoic Era to get the inland sea so there might be an Allosaurus off camera stalking our lovers.

Gad, this is awful. The image, the font for the title (squished up there in the corner as it is) and not a by-line in sight. Geez, half the purpose of a cover is to say who wrote the thing. Plus, the “woman” in the pic appears to be naked while he’s wearing jeans. I hate that. And the glowy sun bursting through them…geh.

Is that the sun glowing through them? I thought it was a ghostly apparition of Homer Simpson’s skull!

Does look rather like an empty skull, doesn’t it?

Still looks like Shakespeare to me.

Definitely the most unattractive people I’ve seen in a while. Stretching: the easiest way to make attractive look grotesque.

From the website:

“Create an eBook Cover Image in under 5 minutes. No graphics expertise needed.”

Sounds foolproof. I wonder what went wrong.

It doesn’t say good cover image, so no false advertising there. Also, I think there’s a new cover on Amazon now. Looks better, but the blurb is just two awful run-on sentences. I’ll pass, thank you.

“ebookcovermakerpro”? Where does the “pro” come in?

Pro is when you pay for the privilege of making bad covers all on your own.

From the FAQ:

Q. How do I get rid of the watermark?
A. The purchased version does not contain a watermark.

I think that font was one of the four “Premium Typefaces” that came with my dot-matrix printer.
