Are the author’s friends blobby black things or shiny blue things? No wonder he doesn’t know them. They’re not real. And if his friends are all in his head does this mean he doesn’t know himself? Closer than you think, indeed.

There is a little, tiny silhouette of a person walking in the middle of the color-storm. I don’t get it.

I had to look for that for a while. I was seeing the human figure and the black shape next to it as one thing. Still doesn’t make sense.

Perhaps the black blob next to the person is a car with its headlights on, approaching through the snow and about to run him down?
