The Adventures of a Super Hero’s Insurance Adjuster

The Adventures of a Super Hero’s Insurance Adjuster

“I heard that there was a disaster somewhere around here…”

  1. “I’d help if I could, but the insurance forms on my clipboard are too crudely drawn to be legible.”

  2. This concept could be really interesting. There was a whole radio drama series back in the late 40s (I think) called “Johnny Dollar” about a freelance insurance adjuster. He encountered Hitler in Rio de Janeiro once. It worked pretty well as a premise to get the hero into the middle of a mystery. The cover is pretty awful though.

    1. There was also the Marvel comic “Damage Control” through the late ’80s/early ’90s (the characters have continued to appear since around the Marvel Universe) about a superhero damage cleanup firm.
